Glimpse the Past

The D'Entrecasteaux Channel has a rich tapestry of Aboriginal
and European heritage and culture. The
Channel Chronicles
is a local history website created by a group of students from
Margate Primary School in 2001 with
assistance from the local community, the Channel
Historical Folk Museum.
The
history of Margate, Margate
Train and the Margate Christian
Church give glimpses of local history.
