Bruny Island Ferry

There has been a ferry going back and forth from Kettering to Bruny Island for a very long time. In 1954, the Bruny Island Ferry started carrying vehicles. Since then there have been four ferries and nine captains. There has only been one disaster and that was when two ladies drove on to the boat and then accidentally drove off the other end. No one was badly hurt but the car was damaged.
