The Channel is a region in Southern Tasmania with a rich tapestry of  Aboriginal and European heritage and culture.  The Channel Chronicles captures snapshots of local history to honour the lives of the people of this district.

Students from Margate Primary School researched this history project with assistance from the local community, the Channel Historical Folk Museum and Margate Online Access Centre.
